1. Scope and Provider
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of the Preferred scheduling service available at prfd.app (“Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Description of the Service
Preferred is an online scheduling tool that helps users share their meeting availability with others. The Service uses a preference-based algorithm to suggest optimal time slots based on the user’s calendar, configured availability, and priority settings. The Service integrates with Google services for authentication, calendar access, and video conferencing.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You may not create accounts for others without their consent.
4. Free Use
The Service is currently provided free of charge. We reserve the right to introduce paid plans or modify the scope of the free offering at any time with reasonable notice.
5. Google Services Integration
The Service uses Google Sign-In for authentication and may access your Google Calendar to determine availability and create meeting events. By connecting your Google account, you authorize Preferred to:
- Read your calendar events to calculate available time slots
- Create calendar events with Google Meet links when bookings are confirmed
- Send calendar invitations to meeting participants
You can revoke calendar access at any time through your account settings. Your use of Google services is additionally subject to Google’s Terms of Service.
6. User Obligations
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for its intended purpose of scheduling meetings
- Not misuse the Service for spam, harassment, or any unlawful activity
- Not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or otherwise interfere with the Service
- Comply with all applicable laws, including data protection regulations when sharing booking links
7. Booking and Scheduling
The Service facilitates scheduling but does not guarantee that meetings will take place. The algorithm suggests time slots based on availability and preferences, but the final scheduling decision rests with the participants. Preferred is not a party to any meeting or agreement arising from the use of the Service.
8. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Privacy Policy. By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
9. Intellectual Property
All rights to the Service, including its software, design, algorithm, and branding, are owned by Preferred. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of any content you provide (e.g., meeting titles, descriptions).
10. Availability and Liability
We strive to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by German law:
- We are liable without limitation for damages caused by intent or gross negligence
- For slight negligence, we are only liable for breaches of material contractual obligations, limited to foreseeable, typical damages
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from missed or incorrect scheduling
11. Account Termination
You can delete your account at any time through the Settings page. Upon deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
12. Modifications to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. The current version is always available at prfd.app/terms.
13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms is Berlin, Germany, to the extent permitted by law.
14. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalid provision shall be replaced by a valid provision that most closely reflects the economic intent of the original.
